Ensuring better days for Grays is central to the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation's plans for Thurrock. With a population of over 18,000, Grays is the largest town in Thurrock, and has an enviable location on the River Thames.
The Masterplan provides a framework for creating a vibrant, exciting new waterfront and town centre area, combining good transport connections by car, train, bus and river with high class facilities such as the Thurrock Learning Campus and the New Generation Community Hospital, making Grays a place where people want to live, work and visit.
This website summarises the vision for Grays that the Masterplan proposes and will also provide greater detail about what is planned for the area between the railway station and the river.
